Orchestra della Toscana
A fairy tale in prose adapted from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, which tells the story of a gift through music. A gift that perhaps all children should receive on Christmas Eve, but perhaps on other nights too, to feel welcomed into the warmth of a home’s hearth. A tale steeped in magic, snow, sweets and dreams, in which everyone faces challenges to grow up and see reality through different eyes.
Thus, the actors of the Venti Lucenti theatre company – a leading force on the Florentine stage for over thirty years – return with a new production in collaboration with the ORT.
Founded and directed by Manu Lalli, the theatre company’s repertoire with the Orchestra della Toscana includes various successful productions, such as Aida, Carmen, Cinderella, Pinocchio and Alice, all tailor-made for young audiences, in keeping with the Venti Lucenti method of inclusive theatre.
