For safety reasons, for spectators with a certified disability equal to or greater than 70% a reserved area is set aside near one of the exits at the back of the stalls (4 seats available for disabled people with mobility impairments and 5 seats for disabled people who are able to walk). These spectators are entitled to a reduced ticket and a free ticket for their service companion.

Ludwig van Beethoven / Egmont, incidental music Op. 84 for soprano, narrator and orchestra

Two works exploring civil and spiritual themes make up the programme conducted by Diego Ceretta for the Orchestra della Toscana, bringing the season to a close.

The concert opens with Metamor

phosen di Richard Strauss, elegia per 23 archi composta negli ultimi mesi della Seconda guerra mondiale, in una scrittura raccolta e di forte densità contrappuntistica.

Segue l’esecuzione integrale delle musiche di scena per Egmont di Ludwig van Beethoven, ispirate al dramma di Johann Wolfgang von Goethe e al tema della libertà contro l’oppressione. Con l’ORT, il soprano Chelsea Zurflüh e Peppe Servillo come voce recitante.
