Tutti al Teatro Verdi!
Saturday afternoon shows for families and children
successful collaboration that the ORT Foundation has put in place in recent years is the one with the contemporary circus company MagdaClan. In these ad-hoc shows, music, performed live by the Orchestra della Toscana, blends into an adventurous whirlwind of acrobatic numbers performed by the acrobats of one of Italy’s most popular contemporary circus companies.
The first show that inaugurated this highly successful partnership returns to the Teatro Verdi in Florence: Mozart in equilibrium.
A different way of approaching the great pages of the Salzburg genius. Capillary suspensions, Bulgarian verticals and other breathtaking numbers alternate on stage in a show designed for youngsters, but capable of captivating all ages. Mozart, balancing on ropes, engaged in whirling juggling exercises, in imaginative acrobatic evolutions performed with a simple sheet of paper. A show in which the explosiveness of the new acrobatic circus finds inspiration in classical music, creating new images and fantasies.
