Tutti al Teatro Verdi!
Saturday afternoon shows for families and children
Three masterpieces of Rossini’s theatre become animated films by Lele Luzzati and Giulio Gianini.
The partnership between the wonderful set designer Luzzati and the director Gianini lasted decades and bequeathed us a legacy of animated films inspired by opera theatre and music.
In March 2010, the ORT presented to the public on a single DVD the trilogy composed of La gazza ladra (1964), L’Italiana in Algeri (1968) and Pulcinella (1973), screening it on the occasion of its 30th anniversary celebrations in the same year.
It thus returns to the stage of the Teatro Verdi in Florence as an extraordinary proposal for children.
Characters in perfect harmony with the music, performed live by the Orchestra della Toscana, give life to poetic and amusing stories, where art, poetry and colours come together in complete harmony.
